EXCLUSIVE Q&A with actress Danielle Chucran! - Part 2

A little about Danielle:
Danielle has been in movies, shorts, TV shows, and just about everything in between. She played the incredibly famous Thing 1 in The Cat in the Hat and Katniss in MainstayPro's KATNISS & RUE

6. What kind of advice would you give to anyone who wants to start acting?
If acting is something that you absolutely love to do, never give up. You get knocked down A LOT in this business and it certainly takes a toll on you, but when your so passionate about something you'll find the strength to get back up and fight for what you want.

7. You auditioned for Katniss Everdeen in 'The Hunger Games' before Jennifer Lawrence took the role. Even if you love Jennifer and are excited for her, were you upset you didnt get the role?
No I wasn't upset at all. I was so ecstatic over being able to audition in the first place. Of course you always hope that something might come of the audition, and you have that little voice in the back of your mind saying "what if" that keeps the little spark of hope in you going. It was a real pleasure to be able to meet with Gary Ross. It's to be expected to be a little bummed when you don't get a role you absolutely love but I'm sure Jennifer is going to do fantastic and knock it out of the park. 

8. Do you. Believe you could play someone in Catching Fire or Mockingjay?
 It would be such a blast to be a part of the HG in any way, I'd love to play to a character in either whomever the character would be. 


9. What is your dream role?
 Oh gosh that's a tough one, I love action films. So if you could incorporate action, a strong script, fight scenes, horses, fast cars and crazy stunts that'd be fantastic! ;) No, I would love to do a medieval time style film, I love that genre and think it would be so much fun. 

10. What is your next goal or project?
 I am so excited to start the next project, it's with the wonderful Mainstay crew once again, it's called 'Osombie', we will be filming during November with guns, grenades, swords and ZOMBIES!
